I think Romney wants to gut health care for elderly and the poor, Obama wants to strengthen it, but do so at the expense of those groups in a for-profit system, his bill forces people to buy the insurance companies' products. Romney wants to give huge tax cuts to himself and the rich, but in the debate straight up lied about it to make himself sound more moderate and "win" the debate. Obama might want to tax the rich more, but ultimately is more of the same that we've had for a long time now, plutocrats in power, talking a big game about being tough on wall street, all the while giving them every opportunity to steal more, cheat more, buy more politicians. There will not be very much change whether either is in power, unfortunately. People entrenched on either side are fearfully acting like it's the end of the world if either are to be president for the next four years, but not much will be different either way.
There may be a few supreme court justices retiring in the next four years though, so if anything is important in all this, it is probably that. They will have more of a say, and for a longer period of time, about a lot of things in the US.
Agreed. Too bad commerce, big guns, tobacco and liquor run the country and not either political party.
